Fifth Annual DR Golf Travel Exchange Returns to SECRETS® Resort & Spa Cap Cana in September
The fifth annual Dominican Republic Golf Travel Exchange will return Sept. 1 through Sept. 6 for the second year at SECRETS® Resort & Spa Cap Cana. The announcement follows the 2018 World Golf Awards where Dominican Republic was recently announced the Best Caribbean Golf Destination for the fourth consecutive year.

The event, hosted in large part by TARGET Marketing and Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism, serves to promote Dominican Republic and its world-class golf offerings with international tour operators and golf media from around the globe.
As in past years, attendees will have exclusive access to some of the best courses, specialized seminars and professional workshops all set against the backdrop of the luxurious five-star SECRETS® Resort & Spa Cap Cana, the newest property from AM Resorts in the country. There will also be meet-and-greet activities with international delegates and the opportunity to experience what Dominican Republic has to offer “off the greens” with excursions within the country’s east coast.

In 2017, it was announced Dominican Republic’s golf industry has grown more than 45 percent in the last five years. The 2018 DR Golf Travel Exchange announcement follows Dominican Republic’s recent celebration of hosting the country’s first ever PGA Tour, held at Corales Golf Course located within Puntacana Resort & Club, March 19-25.
